Blanking

Coils should ideally be made as large and wide as possible. That makes sense because it saves a lot of work – and money – right from the outset. After that, though, things get complicated. What if you don’t actually need quite as many sheets of the same length and width as the coil provides? The answer is clever processing using a master coil.

Any rectangular shape you like
from one coil

Just one of the many benefits of our blanking process. We cut to length first, and then slit. That way, we can cut any rectangular shape from one coil. That is good for more than just nesting for HSC cuts. Even if it is just a matter of rectangles, you don’t have to rack your brains trying to work out whether there’s still some coil left over. Especially handy when it comes to aluminium and stainless steel, don’t you think?

By the way, we also produce absolutely exceptional surface finishes. Our straighteners are designed for outer body panels, and you won’t see any kinks. That applies even if your particular application is not automotive but, for example, you want to suspend a sheet up to eight metres long on a building façade, from 0.5 to at least 5 mm. We can do it in steel, aluminium, stainless steel, copper…you name it!
